A Lincoln woman is recovering after she was attacked by a pit bull Saturday morning.
Police say the attack happened at 12:15 Saturday on the 2000 block of J street.
They say a 20-year-old woman went to meet a friend at her home and she did not know the friend was watching a pit bull.
When the woman entered the apartment, the dog attacked her injuring her arm and leg.
She was taken to Bryan LGH West for the injuries.
Animal control is handling the dog.
