Police say a Lincoln woman was killed in the morning traffic accident near Highway 2 and So. 20th St. at Southwood Drive.
It happened at around 7:30 a.m. Lincoln police say 50-year-old Karen L. Williams was killed after her car was hit by a pickup driven by a man. The 50-year-old pickup driver had minor injuries.
Police officer Katie Flood says the pickup hit the driver's side of the woman's car. Flood says Williams was turning westbound onto Highway 2 at the Southwood Drive intersection. The pickup driver was headed eastbound on Highway 2. Both drivers were lone occupants.
