A 14-year old Lincoln girl who has been missing since Sunday has been found. Adriawnna Huhman, a Park middle school student, disappeared Sunday from her home in West Lincoln. Wednesay she turned up in Cleburne, Texas, which is just south of the Dallas/Forth Worth-area. She had apparently gone there to meet an adult male friend she had known when she lived in North Platte.
Adriawnna Huhman's family was very relieved to find out Wednesday that Adriawnna has been found safe and sound. Several well-wishers were at their West Lincoln home, as Adriawnna's parents were packing up to travel to Texas to pick up the girl.
How she got to Texas is not known, and not much is known about the man she went to meet, other than he's apparently in his early 20's. At this point, no arrests have been made and there are no criminal charges.
Adriawnna's mother does not believe her daughter was forcibly taken. Police in Texas tell us the teen was traced through a phone-call to a fast-food restaurant parking lot.
Authorities say Adriawnna was found in the parking lot with a 47-year old female. The names of those involved are not being released, since no criminal charges have yet been filed.
