To say that Jill Osborne is a sports enthusiast would be understating it a little bit. She loves to play soccer, basketball, go rollerblading, play tennis, snowboard, ice skate, bike, swim...you name it, she either does or has done it. Her love of sports, also made her eager to move to the capital city to experience Cornhusker football. Jill was a college athlete as well and ran Division 1 track at North Carolina State, where she earned a degree in Communications.
Before coming to Channel 8 KLKN-TV, Jill learned quickly about the fast pace of news as an intern at FOX News in New York City. She then continued to hone her skills as a reporter in Rapid City, SD. About the news Jill says, "It's an amazing feeling knowing that you are providing information about the world to our viewers. You hope to make a simple impact and if you make more, you're lucky."
Jill is extremely close to her family, so much so, that a friend of hers once said that it was surprising that her family didn't have a painted bus like the Partridge Family. During her time off, as you probably have guessed, Jill likes to travel and enjoys the outdoors.
