Jill Johnson is from Sioux Falls, South Dakota and graduated from University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a degree in Broadcasting and Political Science.  She chose broadcasting because she says, "You learn a little bit about everything and you get to meet someone new almost every day".

As a reporter with Channel 8 Eyewitness News, Jill says reporting can be a tough job.  "I think it could be one of the most challenging jobs in the world at times, but being able to tell someone's story or educate people is also the most rewarding", says Jill.

Jill has a passion for interior design and is always finding new ways to decorate her home.  She also loves to go to sporting events and watching them on TV.  She even thinks that she would like to do some sports reporting someday.
