Another arrest has been made in connection to the alleged Brandon Crago weekend crime spree. Crago is facing robbery charges and authorities believe he may have killed a Lancaster County couple on Sunday. Four criminal counts and the possibility of murder charges loom over 34-year-old Brandon Crago. Last Thursday, authorities say Crago began a crime spree that resulted in robberies. According to Lancaster County Sherriff, Terry Wagner, 28-year-old Jesse Bennet was arrested yesterday. Authorities believe Bennet helped Crago bring a stolen ATV from Crete back to Lincoln last week. Earlier in the day, Crago was also believed to have stolen a car in Grand Island. Crago escaped on foot from that pursuit, and at some point stole an ATV from Hamilton County. Investigators believe Crago drove the ATV to the Crete area where he received help in bringing the ATV to Bennet's residence. The ATV was recovered near Bennets home on 20th and Knox Street on Wednesday. Bennet is charged with felony theft by receiving stolen property. Crago's bond has been set at 5 million dollars. Authorities say they will continue to investigate the murder scene and look into any events that led up to it.
