Recipe from W.P. Cirino of Everett, Mass.
Total Time: Stove TOP FAST
1/ 2- 3/ 4 lb. broccoli fiorets
2 tbls. Olive oil
2 cloves garlic (optional)
salt and pepper to taste
1/ 2 cup grated white cheddar
1/ 2 cup grated parmesano romano
1 cup half & half or cream
2 tsp. corn starch
chicken breast
1. Set 1 lb. ziti to boil. Heat olive oil in a separate fry pan.
2. Add garlic and cubed bits of chicken and broccoli to stir fry until chicken is cooked and white in color. Drain Ziti reserving 1 cup of water in the pot.
3. Transfer contents of the fry pan to the pot. Add salt, pepper, cream, cornstarch and cheese to ziti pot. Simmer covered on low flame until mixture thickens. Stir occasionally.
Servings: Use as Main dish, Tastes even better next day as a lunch or snack.
