LES restored power to 1,030 customers after a tree limb on a power line caused on outage 44th to 58th Streets, A to Q streets. It happened around 8:19pm Monday night. Power was restored at 9:06pm. There are still a number of small outages being reported in the city and the county due to the storm.
NPPD is also reporting that 3,400 customers were without power in Elm Creek, Aurora, McCook and Norfolk. Officials say they lost 4 transmission lines from Lexington to York. They also lost some steel towers. Authorities tell us that power is partially restored in Elm Creek. It is back on in Aurora and McCook. It is still lightning in Norfolk, so they are waiting for that to end before working on the outage.
