You may want to enjoy driving in parts of downtown Lincoln now, because you'll soon be detoured.
In April, all lanes of "O" street will be shut down from 17th to 21st for 3 months.
It's one of the last stages in the downtown Antelope Valley project. As crews widen 19th street, they'll also add a median and re-pave that part of "O".
Several store owners in the area are worried how the construction might affect business.
Daniel Benes of Timeless Treasures says, "I think that you're going to see probably a lot more confusion and a lot more problems."
Chris Thompson from The Game Room says, "I think if they're going to do that, give us something back."
The city will hold a meeting to adress concerns... 4:30 Wednesday evening at the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce.
