Gas prices are up. The question is, why this time? Some analysts says refineries have cut back production because of over supply. There's also fears of shortages due to tensions between Iran and America over nuclear weapons. You also have higher crude oil prices.
Steve Bulling says it would help if we could drill in the continental United States, "We gotta get the environmentalist out to get back at the government so we can build some new refineries, some pipelines and get our own oil flowing so we don't have to rely on foreign oil."
This summer, some oil speculators believe gas will hit 5 or 6 dollars a gallon. AAA is not anticipating that.
