Henderson couple charged after bomb making materials found

Two York county residents have been charged in York County Court after a SWAT team discovered bomb making materials, guns, and drugs at a farmhouse south of Henderson. Melvin and Jennifer Lear face preliminary hearings in February and March.

The York County Sheriff's office said they received a tip that illegal activity was happening at the house. The SWAT team searched the home, discovered the materials and arrested the couple in January.

The Lears were also charged with child abuse because 3 children were in the home.
