Authorities are at the scene of the accident have confirmed one person was killed.
The area has been shut down to traffic. The call came in just after 3 p.m. Authorities say a car ran a stop sign and crashed into a van at the intersection north of Lincoln. The driver of that car was pronounced dead at the scene. Five people inside the van were taken to hospital.
Emergency crews have been called in from Ceresco, Raymond and Lincoln. A helicopter was also called out from Lincoln to transport patients to the hospital.
The identification of the deceased has not yet been released. We'll have more information as it becomes available.
