Gunshots in two Lincoln neighborhoods sent two men to the hospital this weekend.
Police say just before midnight Friday, people in two cars fired 8 to ten rounds before shooting a parked car near 2nd and "D" streets.
About an hour later, police say a man was shot in the stomach when he answered his door at 17th and Knox.
They say another man was also shot in the leg. Mike Melhorn lives near one of the shootings and says it's a problem throughout the city... "this could happen in any area and so, just got to get a handle on gun violence in this city and get the guns off the street."
Police are still trying to determine if the shootings are related...so far, they say they have no suspects.
If you have any information regarding these shootings, police urge you to call Crimestoppers...that number is 402–475–3600.
