Witnesses saw two young men beating up a man on 33rd & O Monday night.
It happened at around 9 p.m. Lincoln Police Officer Katie Flood says the 21-year-old male victim was leaving the Discount Depot store at that location when two men started yelling at him to pick a fight. Flood says the victim ignored them and crossed "O" Street toward Starbucks. Police say the men chased him down and started punching him and tried to grab his wallet. The suspects ran off and got into a car.
Police say they did not get the victim's wallet, however, he suffered an orbital fracture to his eye.
The suspects are described as: two white males, 5'10", 150 lbs., both wearing dark hoodies and jeans and described as skinny. One of the suspects had straight blonde hair to his ears. They were seen getting into a dark 4-door car driven by a women approx. 23-years-old.
