Woman arrested on prostitution charges

Undercover officers say they arrested a woman on suspicion of prostitution, after she offered sex in exchange for money. Lincoln police say they were in the area of 13th and 'E' when 33-year-old Shawntee Peters approached them late Tuesday night.

Police say Peters offered to perform a sexual act in exchange for some money. The officers arrested her for soliciting prostitution. Peters has been arrested in Ohio for similar charges.
