A 24–year–old Lincoln man is dead tonight after his pick–up crashed off West highway 33 earlier today.
They say Cory Benson died a little after 10:30 this morning.
He was taken to Bryan West after the sheriff says his Ford F-150 left the highway, hitting a ditch before continuing in a field and landing in a private drive between Southwest 2nd and Southwest 14th streets in Lancaster county.
The sheriff's office says Benson was not wearing a seatbelt and was the only person in the truck at the time accident.
The Lancaster County Sheriff's office is still investigating the cause of the accident.
