One man is in the hospital after a scary accident at 10th and South.
It happened just after 11 this morning. Lincoln police say a woman ran a red light on South street and hit the man who was driving on 10th. Both cars spun out of control, the man ended up getting trapped.
Battalion Chief Eric Jones says, "The first arriving company that got here stabilized the vehicle and it was a pretty quick extrication. Took them about 3 or 4 minutes to actually cut the person out of the car."
The man was taken to Bryan LGH West with non–life threatening injuries. The woman had minor injuries and refused medical treatment.
