The fight continues against a proposed Walmart in south Lincoln. The neighborhood near 27th and yYankee Hill road has started a petition drive as well as a Facebook page against Walmart.
They're hoping with enough signatures the giant will change its mind and find a different location.
"We want to get the word out. A lot of people in this neighborhood have children and we're concerned with the safety of our children," Resident Randy Millwood said.
Walmart officials plan to meet with residents in the neighborhood on Monday, June 18th.
