Several people are rushed to the hospital after a truck flips on Highway 2. The accident occurred around 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon near 56th street. Police say a car was turning onto 56th street but failed to yield to the oncoming traffic and collided with a pickup truck.
"Obviously there's multiple lanes here a lot of cars going at a pretty good speed because we're on highway two so anybody that's gonna turn across and certainly turn left at any intersection always needs to look twice," Capt. Joseph Wright said.
Two people in the car were transported to the hospital. Their injuries are not considered life threatening. The driver of the pickup was okay and refused treatment.
