The University of Nebraska is gearing up to debut it's newest high octane sports team. After 14 months in the works, Husker Motorsports will launch into action this week out at Airpark. It's all part of the Formula SAE Challenge.  Engineers from colleges all across the country are gathering to take part in the racing event.

Team Nebraska says they're ready to get their hands dirty. "Actually getting it here today, when it finally arrived, was a big relief that our first year car is here and we're ready to show everyone what we can do," Catherine Pfeifer with Husker Motorsports said.

This is UNL's first year participating in the event. The action takes place Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
