Advertising Agency Swanson Russell marked their 50th anniversary Friday by handing out cupcakes downtown! The company has been in Lincoln since 1962. They celebrated by throwing a party, then kept the festivities going by walking through downtown, handing out free cupcakes to everyone around. The agency felt it was a good way to honor the past and look to the future.
"We've been able to grow with all these incredible people from right here in Nebraska. Most of our employees are home grown. They're from Lincoln. They're from Nebraska," Dave Hansen with Swanson Russell said.
Swanson Russell says they love being centrally located and hope to be around for another 50 years.
