A Lincoln man is stabbed in the torso after a verbal altercation overnight.
It happened around 2:45 this morning near 22nd and 'R.'
Police say two men were walking in that area when they were approached by a man who began insulting them.
After a considerable amount of name calling, police say the man then stabbed one of the two victims in the abdomen.
The victim was taken to the hospital and received 11 staples.
The suspect is described as a 250 pound black male, approximately 5 foot 9, with a bald or closely shaved head.
