A gunman opened fire in an Aurora, Colorado movie theater during the midnight premiere of the new Batman movie.
Right now, 12 people are confirmed dead and at least 38 more are injured.
Police have a 24-year-old in custody.
Terrifying moments overnight in suburban Denver. Approximately 38 people

The Dark Knight Rises. Among the dead, a 3-month-old baby.
It happened just after 12:30 am at Century Aurora 16 Movie Theater.
Witnesses say the gunman opened fire in the middle of a dark theater. According to accounts, the audience couldn't distinguish the gunfire from the action in the film.
Sources tell ABC News police have arrested 24-year-old James Holmes, a white
male with no known connection to terrorism. Police recovered weapons at
the scene. The suspect told authorities he had explosives at his
residence law enforcement rushed to his house.
Inside the theater, police say an explosive device was found. Authorities
are not sure if the device was already in place or whether it was thrown
into the crowd.
100 FBI agents responded to the scene to assist local law enforcement.
Early guidance from federal officials says the suspect acted alone.
