Portions of South 70th Street near East High School were closed after a serious accident around 12:15 Sunday afternoon. Lincoln Police said a woman having a medical episode struck a convertible. Police said the woman continued driving around 60 miles per hour and then struck another vehicle that was pulling out of East High School.
Police say the woman died. One man suffered a broken arm but his injuries are not serious. Traffic was closed on South 70th Street between "A" and St. Elizabeth's Regional Medical Center. We'll have more information as it becomes available.
