Call for donations for ranchers hurt by wildfires, drought

Donations are being accepted to help ranchers hit by the one-two punch of a drought and wildfires.

Money can be sent to a fund set up with the North Central Development Center in Ainsworth. Wire and post donations can be delivered to the farmers and ranchers co-op in Ainsworth.

A charity event is also taking place August 11th in Lincoln. The "Firestorm Fest" will feature five bands. It takes place at 7 p.m. at the Royal Grove Bar. It costs $5 at the door.
