Some of Lincoln's four-legged pals are getting a nice, cool break from all this hot weather.
Dozens of proud owners and their canine buddies came out to Scheels for the city's first ever dog jump. It's a fun competition to see which dogs jump the farthest.
Organizers say the community's response has been amazing. Assistant Store Leader Monica Ledbetter says, "It's overwhelmingly positive. We're always thrilled with the support we get from the community. It's nice to see the families out here. A lot of people are just out having fun and relaxing."
Saturday is the last day for the competition. The winners will go on to compete in a national competition in Alabama.
