Terror in a North Lincoln neighborhood, police say 22-year-old Clyde Flemons, 20-year-old Christopher Elliott and another man entered a family's home, armed with guns.

Police say they demanded money, and threatened to open fire.

"People do bad things all the time and there's really not a cause for it. You know, especially for a family like theirs," said neighbor Joshua Jakoubek.

Police say at one point, Flemons grabbed a two-year-old boy, held a gun to his head, and threatened to kill him. Luckily, the child's mother grabbed him and passed him to the older children, who were able to escape through a first floor window.

She called police.

Officers say the father was hit, possibly with the butt of a gun. "The 32-year-old male victim did suffer abrasions to his head but nothing life-threatening," said Katie Flood with LPD.

Police say they got to the home just in time to catch Flemons and Elliott, however, the third man got away. Neighbors say they hope he is caught soon so the family can get some relief.

"Some sort of justice needs to be done for that guy. Give him probation or better yet, just put him in jail for a while said Jakoubek.

Police say Flemons and Elliott are both facing charges of robbery and use of a weapon to commit a felony. At this time, police do not have a good description of the third suspect.
