Burglars target a local church and take more than just money, they take sentiment too.
Lincoln police say an employee arrived at First Christian Church on the corner of 16th and 'K' to find it ransacked.
They say a small amount of cash was taken. But it's some broken glass that's made the biggest impact. Officer Katie Flood says, "Also damaged was a stained glass window that is estimated to be around 100 years old."
So far, damage is estimated around 500 dollars.
Police have processed the scene. They don't have any suspects at this time.
