The jaws of life had to be used today after a 2 car accident.

It happened at the intersection of 84th and Havelock around noon.

Police say the pickup didn't stop at a red light and hit a Lexus.

They say the 2 people inside the Lexus were taken to the hospital with non–life threatening injuries.

The driver of the pickup was cited for failure to yield.
