Five months ago, the Walker's didn't even know if Greg would be able to kiss his daughter again. The 43-year-old came face-to-face with death after a motorcycle accident in Kansas.

"I feel a lot better except for being in this wheelchair full time. I don't have feelings in my legs at all or in my waist," said Walker.

As the rehab continues at the Madonna Rehabilitation Center, the Walkers have their fingers crossed that Greg will one day be able to walk again.

Until that day comes, his family needs help paying off the medical bills. "In the tens of thousands of dollars. We can't do it because I'm probably going to lose my job," said Walker. That's where good friend, Cole Moore comes in.

He's a member of an 80s cover band called, 'Bondo Jovi.' It's also one of Greg's favorite bands. "We just decided this is one thing we could do, both of us getting together to raise money to help Greg and have fun at the same time," said Moore.

He needs your help to pack the house this Friday night. A party to forget about the hard times right now, and to raise some money for a better future for Greg and Team Walker.

The fundraiser is Friday at "The Nowhere Bar" on 20th and Cornhusker. It starts at 7:30, it's a $10 cover at the door, all of that money going directly to the Walker family.
