Mark Davies, of the Omaha suburb of Bennington, bought the ticket at a Hy-Vee gas outlet in northwest Omaha.
The ticket matched five of the six numbers drawn Wednesday night but missed the Powerball number. The ticket's $1 million prize was doubled because Davies bought the Power Play option, which automatically raised the prize to $2 million.
Davies says he'll use the money to pay off some bills and save for his children's education.
A ticket sold in Lapeer, Mich., matched all six numbers, winning the buyer the jackpot of $337 million.
