Lincoln police say the man accused of robbing a CVS Pharmacy in south Lincoln is now in jail.
Police say 30-year-old Christopher P. Marazzo was released from the hospital and transported to the Lancaster County Jail for his involvement in the Sunday robbery of the CVS Pharmacy near 27th & Old Cheney. He was cited and lodged for Robbery.
On Sunday just before 4 p.m. police say Marazzo held up the pharmacy and stole painkiller patches. A pursuit began and thanks to a sheriff's deputy, Marazzo was caught and arrested just 15 minutes later outside an apartment complex near Warlick and Old Cheney. However, officers say he chewed up and swallowed the pain patches. Marazzo was taken to the ER for overnight observation. Officers were posted at his side.
Marazzo's girlfriend, 35–year–old Lorisa Bowland, was arrested for being an accessory to a robbery. Police say she was the getaway driver. She'll also be charged for child neglect, officers say her 7–month–old daughter was in the car.
