They campaigned together in New Hampshire, but now the GOP road show heads to Tampa for the Republican National Convention.
Political analysts say Mitt Romney needs to focus on one main issue: "he has got to make a clear indication to the American people that he is focused on the economy and jobs, and I think that is what his speech has got to talk about," Buddy Cianci, Political Analyst says.
With the presidential race tightening in the polls, experts believe Republicans must sell themselves this week...to people who have not yet made up their minds: "in other words, can an undecided – if there is such a thing – voter, decide that they're comfortable with his moderate position," Political Analyst Kay Israel says.
And aside from trying to define the republican agenda, experts say you're likely to hear lot of criticism of President Obama: "it's critical for them to project an air of liability; of believable. You have to convince people that you are a credible alternative to the incumbent," Professor John Epperson says.
For many Americans the convention will offer a chance to learn a lot more about vice presidential running mate Paul Ryan.
