We're learning more information about a man found critically injured along the side of Highway 77.
The Lancaster County Sheriff's Office is still trying to figure out what exactly happened this morning.
We know the man is in critical but expected to survive.
The call came in a little before 2:00 Thursday morning.
The Sheriff's office says a motorist driving a box truck was headed southbound on Highway 77 when they say they swerved to miss a deer.
The truck driver told a deputy parked in the median just down the road what had happened.
When the deputy went to search for the deer, they found an injured person lying in the grass along the side of the highway.
Emergency crews took the person to Bryan west to be treated.
Again, investigators say they suspect the box truck hit the person with their side mirror.
We'll get you more information when it becomes available.
