Haymarket Park will be transformed into a stage Friday night. The Allman Brothers among other bands will be there. It's normally a baseball field, but for one night it'll be turned into a stage.

"The Allman Brothers and a few other acts performing, just an overall blues festival type thing. Buddy Guy's supposed to show up," Rich Barr And Steven Croxford said.

Set-up has already started for the concert.  It's right on schedule, but having a baseball field as the venue can be a challenge.

"We've done baseball fields before, I did one at Yankee Stadium, the first one they ever did in there, so it's always a challenge. Everybody has different rules and requirements of how they want to protect their fields," Barr and Croxford said.

This is the only scheduled appearance of the Allman Brothers west of the Mississippi this year. So the crew has high hopes for Lincoln. "A million people. Hoping for a sellout, wouldn't that be fantastic? We'd like to see everybody come down and enjoy it. Have a good time," Barr & Croxford said.

The concert starts Friday night at 6 and tickets are still available. They range from 85 to 165 dollars a piece. For more information log onto www.allmanbrothersband.com
