Driving in Nebraska's capital city is much safer than most other U.S. Cities.

Allstate insurance says Lincoln is the fifth–safest city overall and safest city of its size this year because accidents are less likely.

In Lincoln, drivers get into accidents about once every 12.4 years. The national average once every 10.

Omaha ranks 45th in the report.

The safest city in the study was Sioux falls, South Dakota.
