Motel employee helps catch theft suspects

A surveillance camera caught the eye of a motel employee - police say 3 men were breaking into his car.

It happened at around 2:30 a.m. Friday. Police say three men started breaking into a car at the Days Inn Motel near 11th & Calvert. It turns out it was an employee's car, and he saw it happening on surveillance. He called police, just as the men took off in another car.

Officers caught up to them and they were arrested. 24-year-old Michael Baxa, and 24-year-old Antonio Guevara were arrested for Unauthorized Entry into a Motor Vehicle. 23-year-old Marcelino Martinez was arrested for Aiding & Abetting.
