Police say the man who robbed a Lincoln bank earlier this month is now behind bars.
Police say 24–year–old Kirk Reisetter of Kearney is the man who robbed the Nebraska bank of commerce on 14th street. Police say he walked in, handed a note to a teller, and left with cash.
Police say he was spotted near a downtown parking garage a little later.
"Officers spoke with an alert Park and Go employee. He recalled the type of car the suspect was driving and the fact that he paid for his parking fee with a credit card," Officer Katie Flood said.
Lincoln police traced Reisetter to his home in Kearney where he was arrested. He has since been transferred to Lincoln to face robbery charges. Most of the money has been recovered.
Bank surveillance photos showed the suspect with bandage on his face. There was no visible mark on his face.
