Fire At Popular Lincoln Restaurant

A local restaurant was evacuated earlier this evening after smoke filled the kitchen.

It happened at Fireworks in Eastern Lincoln this evening around 6:45.

Residue build–up from the hickory wood grill caught fire in the kitchen.

Managers of the restaurant say it was mostly smoke and it was put out right away with a fire extinguisher.

They called the fire department to be cautious and make sure everything was safe.
