Lincoln exhaust company bought by British company

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) _ GT Exhaust Inc., of Lincoln, has been bought by a British company.

Industrial Acoustics Co., Inc., of Winchester, England, announced Wednesday that it had completed the acquisition and that GT Exhaust will become a subsidiary. Terms were not disclosed.

GT Exhaust provides sound and emissions control solutions to the energy, power and heavy transportation industries. Industrial Acoustics CEO Calum Forsyth says GT Exhaust will help Industrial Acoustics accelerate its international expansion.
