The Huskers dominating performance over Idaho St. on Saturday had fans buzzing about the most points scored since 2007.  Nebraska came into this week looking to continue the wins after beating Arkansas St.  Husker fans say even though Idaho St. isn't considered a hard team, it was still fun to see such a high-scoring game.

"I thought Nebraska got a chance to show our depth in a lot of positions and we got a lot of players in the mix and hopefully it's a good tune up for Wisconsin," Tim Buchtel said.

"I thought it was a pretty good game.   Our defense did really well and our offense was scoring a lot...it was great," Dominic Grothe added.

Brothers Nathan and Jacob Bierbaum from Seward said, "they were great.  The offense was explosive."

The Cornhuskers had no problem getting into the end zone.  Fans celebrated the touchdowns and had fun in the stands doing different versions of "the wave" including a fast wave, slow wave and a double wave.

Touchdown after touchdown, fans say they liked getting to see some new faces on the field.

"They stepped up and you know the guys you don't see everyday...you got to see them and they looked pretty good," Kurt Malsam said.  "It was encouraging."

Husker fans big and small say the wins the last two weeks make them confident next Saturday's game against Wisconsin will be a victory.

"I think Wisconsin is kind of not where they thought they'd be and I think we're catching them at the right time and I'm kind of excited about it," Malsam said.

Buchtel added, "I think we'll win and I think we'll play hard, very physical."

Collin Higgins, a team manager for Nebraska Basketball enjoyed tailgating on Saturday after the game with his family.  He says he is looking forward to the big game against the Badgers, but isn't impressed by their team so far this season.

"Wisconsin doesn't look too good in my opinion but I think next week we'll look pretty good hopefully coming off two good wins the past two weekends," Higgins said.

Nebraska will debut their new uniforms next week at home against Wisconsin in their first Big Ten game of the season at 7 p.m.
