ASHLAND, Neb. (AP) _ Authorities suspect a crime was involved in the death of a person whose burned body was found after a grass fire in eastern Nebraska.
Sarpy County Sheriff Jeff Davis says firefighters found the body around 8 a.m. Monday after putting out the blaze in a farm field near Linoma Beach, which sits east of Ashland on the east side of the Platte River. The body hasn't been identified. The case is being treated as a homicide.
