Social media kicked into high gear Monday at UNL. It's called UNL24. It's an experiment to follow students on a normal day using social media. It started at midnight and goes for 24 hours. Students and faculty are encouraged to Tweet, Facebook and Instagram what they're doing throughout the day.
"We thought we could even take it even further in the fall and encourage prospective students to see what real students are doing on campus and see what the experience is like," Andy Schadwinkel with UNL Communications said.
The purpose is for each person to tell their story on campus so prospective students can see what it's like to be a Husker. To follow these updates follow the hashtag #unl24 or log onto http://unl24.unl.edu/
