A woman is lucky to be alive this morning after an ex–boyfriend tries to run her over with his car.

The woman was with her current boyfriend when the incident happened. The call came in around midnight from 27th and Potter Street.

Lincoln police report the man saw his ex–girlfriend with her current boyfriend and tried to run the two of them over. He's arrested for second degree assault. His name has not been released.
