Shots ring out in Lincoln neighborhood

Shots ring out in a Lincoln neighborhood. It happened just before 2 am Monday near 23rd and Dudley Street.

Lincoln police say two neighbors in the area reported hearing four shots fire off. Officers say one of the neighbors looked outside and saw a red or orange two–door vehicle from the 1970's or 80's in the alley between Dudley and Holdrege.

When officers got to the scene, they found two shotgun shells. No damage has been found.

The investigation continues.
