Car accident sends multiple people to the hospital by ambulance

An accident Saturday afternoon in north Lincoln sends multiple people to the hospital.

It was a two car collision that happened around 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of 48th and R Streets.

A van was one of the cars involved. Both airbags were deployed.

Witnesses say five people were riding in the van and multiple were taken by ambulance to the hospital.
