The first recruit of the Tim Miles era at Nebraska will sit the bench for the 2012-13 season. Miles said Monday Deverell Biggs will red shirt this coming season. Biggs, who starred at Omaha Central prior to taking the JuCo route, may see action in Wednesday's exhibition game against Midland.
In other Nebraska basketball news Andre Almeida is expected to return to the court after suffering a minor ankle injury this fall. Also Coach Miles did not keep anyone through the try outs held earlier this fall.
