A man punches a cop and gets tasered.

It happened just before 1:30 Thursday morning near 40th and A Streets.

Lincoln police say an officer was trying to arrest 31–year–old Aaron Bienka on an outstanding warrant when he resisted and took off.

Police say about a block away the officer and Bienka got into a fight and Bienka punched the officer in the head. That's when the officer tasered him. Police say Bienka continued to struggle with the officer. After other officers arrived, Bienka was arrested for assaulting an officer and resisting arrest among other charges.
