One man gets a broken leg during an assault and fires shots into the air.
It happened around 10:30 Thursday night at Risky's Sports Bar near 46th and Leighton.
Police say when they arrived they found one person injured with what looked like a broken leg.
Officers say witnesses to the assault say the injured man, 45 year old Aaron Waldo, fired a shot in the air. Police say the shot was not directed at anyone.
Waldo was cited for discharging a firearm in city limits and carrying a concealed weapon.
He was transported to the hospital to undergo surgery on his leg.
