This holiday the TADA Theatre proudly presents the live radio musical theatre production of A Cornhusker Christmas. Set on the front porch of an old farm house in the small fictional town of Timberwoods, Nebraska, the townspeople gather together for their annual holiday show on K.O.R.N. radio. During the program the live studio audience is introduced to an array of colorful characters, comical tales and holiday songs.
Everything is going great until the station is informed of some unfortunate news. Not willing to let the humbug pull them down, the townspeople gather in the spirit of giving, reminding everyone what the true meaning of the holidays is all about.
Production dates are December 6-9/12-16/20-23 with curtain times at 7:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2:00 p.m. Tickets $20 (Friday / Saturday) and $18 (Thursday / Sunday).
The award-winning TADA Theatre is located in the Creamery Building at 7th & P Streets in the historic Haymarket district of Lincoln, Nebraska. A Cornhusker Christmas is brought to the stage with the generous support of Lyn Leach and Ace Furniture Rent to Own. TADA will once again collect food for the Lincoln Food Bank during the holiday production. All patrons are encouraged to bring a donation when attending the production.
